A heroin investigation in Beckley, WV connects southern West Virginia to Detroit, MI.  Officers with the Beckley Police Department and the Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force searched two homes at 6 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2016.  Investigators said the street value of the heroin found during the search was around $5,000.

A trio of men, all from Detroit, MI, were arrested as a result of the search.  Andre Robertson, 55, is charged with four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Kimo Carr, 42, is charged with one count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Lenay Walker, Jr., 24, is charged with one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin.  All three men are being held in the Southern Regional Jail.  Robertson’s bond is set at $100,000, Carr and Walker’s bonds are $25,000 each.

The arrests are the result of a three month investigation which is still open.  Police said more charges could be filed against these three men.  There also could be more arrests made in the future.
