Over 50 bikers rode today in the third annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle run. The run started in Princeton at the Marine Corp League Building and finished at TCR’s Place in Bluefield.
Event organizers say this toy drive is great and to see kids faces light up when they receive the presents is the best part.
“Especially in our economy these days, more and more families are at that threshold of needing help so it’s important to keep this going and take care of the kids that we can,” Rod Mayberry, the Toys for Tots Coordinator said.
Mayberry tells us he anticipates that next year there will be even more riders and presents to give out.
