Today (12/7) marks the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and one community spent the day honoring our veterans.
The Bramwell Town Hall in Mercer County, showcased artifacts from WWII. One veteran who fought in WWII was there to share his memories with others.
From the uniforms to the guns that were used in the war, organizers say today (12/7) is all about our American heroes.
“It’s important to remember the past and to honor those who sacrificed not in particular willing but because it was a duty for their country,” said a Collector, Ray DeVoe.
All of his collectibles are from yard sales and even some were donated from veterans.
DeVoe dedicated his entire day to sharing his collection with the community. He says this piece of history is something that should never be forgotten and that’s why he works to make sure it lives on.
