DUI checkpoint planned in Mercer County


State Troopers with the Princeton Detachment are keeping an eye out for people who are driving impaired.  They announced that a DUI checkpoint will be set up on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016.  

Troopers will be on Oakvale Road in Mercer County from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.  The will be watching for drivers who were drinking or doing drugs and then getting behind the wheel of their car or truck.  They will also be increasing public awareness about impaired driving.
