Fayette County Man on Bond for Attempted Murder is Back in Jail


A Fayette County man, on bond for attempted murder charges, is back in jail on drug charges.

State Police said tips lead troopers to the home of convicted felon Floyd White of Meadow Bridge.

Officers with Central Drug task force, West Virginia State Police, and Fayette County Sheriffs Department went to White’s home where they discovered oxycontin, 20 different firearms along with $4,000 cash. 

During the search of the house officers also located an active moonshine still. 

Troopers said Floyd was already out on bond for attempted first degree murder charges.

On Wednesday, Dec.3, 2014, Deputies were called to the Crickmer Road area in Danese at 9 p.m. to deal with collision between two vehicles.As they were investigating the accident, they discovered that White, had apparently used his Chevy Silverado to ram another vehicle several times.  Deputies said that White was apparently trying to kill or injure one of the people who were inside the Ford Focus. 

White is currently in Southern Regional Jail.
