FAIRMONT, W.Va. (AP) – Federal authorities plan to announce creation of a task force to identify and deal with health care fraud in northern West Virginia.
U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II will be joined at the Thursday event by representatives of the FBI, the IRS and the state Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
They also will announce a settlement of claims involving a West Virginia health care provider.
The announcements are bine made at the Robert H. Mollohan Research Center in Fairmont.
