CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) – Two public comment hearings on Mountaineer Gas’ proposed $12.2 million rate increase will be held Tuesday in Charleston.

The Public Service Commission says the first hearing will begin at 1 p.m. and the second will begin at 6 p.m. Both hearings will be held at the PSC’s office.

Public comment hearings were held in June in Beckley, Huntington and Wheeling.

The PSC will hold evidentiary hearings on the proposed 4.7 percent increase on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
