Flying Eagles have introduced a former player as their new head coach

The Woodrow Wilson high school Football program will be under the command of a new head coach.Street Sarrett has been an assistant coach for the Flying Eagles since 1998. He will now take over as the Head Football Coach for the 2016 season.

“Oh, I can’t wait. It’s an awesome feeling. Football – I grew up playing it, my brother and I, we played here. It’s just fun, it’ll be fun, here it Beckley, to be a football player, here in the next few years. But I can’t wait for the first day.”


The Flying Eagles are coming off a 3-7 season missing the playoff for the second time in 3 years.
