Former Hinton Little League treasurer sentenced for embezzlement

A case of embezzlement in Summers County comes to a close on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016.  Kimberly Huffman was convicted of embezzling more than $5,000 from Hinton Little League.  That trial was held back in February.

Huffman had previously pleaded guilty to another embezzlement charge.  That was from the Family Resource Network.  She was sentenced on both charges in front of a Summers County Judge on Monday morning.  She received one to 10 years in prison for each count.  The judge set the sentences to run at the same time.  Huffman was order to report to prison on October 1, 2016.
