FOUND: 13-year-old missing teen found safe

11:15 a.m. April 18, 2016 UPDATE:

Montgomery Police said a girl who was reported missing on Saturday, April 16, 2016 is safe and back at home. Over e weekend, police officers were searching for Mya Lynn Watts, 13, of Montgomery, WV.  She returned home on Monday, April 18 at 11:15 a.m. according to Police Chief John Kauff.


ORIGINAL STORY:  The Montgomery Police Department is searching for a missing teenager last seen on April 16, 2016.

Mya Lynn Watts, 13, was last seen in the area of 1026 1st Ave., Montgomery, WV. She is a white female, around 5-feet 4-inches tall, weighing about 150-pounds, has hazel eyes, and blond hair that has been recently dyed to black and brown. Watts’ 14th birthday is the Wednesday, April 20.

Anyone with information regarding the possible whereabouts of Mya Lynn Watts is asked contact the Montgomery Police Department at 304-442-4939.
