People from Abney all the way to Amigo came out to the 17th Annual STOCO Community Reunion on Saturday, July 29th. Hundreds of friends and family members gathered at the old STOCO High School to catch up with each other and reminisce about old times.
The community affair started with its iconic parade and car show, but according the STOCO Reunion Committee Chairman, Arnold Bolen, people come for good food and to share lots of laughter.
“It gets people together again, we see people here that we haven’t seen in years and we see people that we visit with all the time. We just get to visit. It’s a smile fest, if you look through the audience here you’ll see all kind of good smiles,” said Bolen.
The Independence High School band also performed for the occasion. This reunion takes place every year on the last Saturday in July.
