Golfing for a good cause

Brian’s Safehouse hosted their third golf tournament at the Brier Patch Golf Links on Thursday, September 7th. Thirteen teams competed for prizes and raised money for the rehab center. All of the proceeds from the tournament will go towards the center.

Leon Brush, the Co-Founder of Brian’s Safehouse, said this tournament is a great way for the community to show their support for center.

“The community gets behind us. We have a lot of hole sponsors, a lot of teams that come in, and we just look forward to having a day of recreation that still represents a charitable cause,” Brush said.

Brian’s Safehouse is a rehab center for young people who are struggling with addiction. The program lasts 12 months on a completely closed campus.
