Firefighters were called to a home in Centerville, WV on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015. According to officials with the Pineville Fire Department, a pump under the house exploded. That explosion cause extensive damage to the home. There is no word on what may have lead to the explosion.
There were two people in the house at the time. The man and the woman who were there have not been identified. Firefighters said they were not injured. The homeowner said she believes this may have been a methane explosion, but officials could not confirm whether or not that was actually the cause.
