Hypnotist show at the State Fair is a crowd favorite

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be hypnotized, believe it or not, you can find out at the State Fair of West Virginia. The hypnotist show did not disappoint!

The free show is by Catherine Hickland. She started by explaining to the audience that hypnotism is all about the science of the brain. Before you know it, the brave volunteers were hypnotized and were following Hickland’s commands to behave like a fish, a spy and even perform like Michael Jackson! It was a packed house on Wednesday, August 16, and people seemed to really enjoy the show, including Darin Dolin and Hillard Dolin, of White Sulphur Springs.

“I think it’s funny because I know some of the people up there, and they would never do some of those things,” Darin said.
“I think it’s wonderful; I’ve had a lot of laughs out of this,” Hillard added.

You can watch the hypnotist show daily at the Sprint Stage at the State Fairgrounds at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
