Law enforcement broke a Wyoming County record for warrants and arrests issued in a drug raid as dozens were taken into custody Wednesday morning.
Wyoming County Sheriff, Randall Aliff said 50 arrests were made. The suspects combined for more than 170 felonies. Both are county records. Aliff said a majority of the drugs sold were narcotics.
“We’re still seeing most of the prescription pills,” added Aliff. “Now, we do have some heroin buys in this and it’s something we’re really trying to stay on top of is this heroin. If we can get information that’s coming in we can try to bust these people and slow it down a little bit.”
The suspects were given the option to bond out. Those that did not are going to the Southern Regional Jail.
There are warrants out for another 11 suspects in this case. If you have any information on the suspects, contact the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department.
