1 p.m. Jan. 13, 2015 UPDATE:

More charges are filed in Mercer County against a woman accused of robbing two convenience stores.  According to Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies, Amy Davis is now charged with Armed Robbery in connection with the robbery at the Little General in Princeton, WV. That robbery happened over the weekend.


1:45 p.m. Jan. 11, 2016 UPDATE: 

West Virginia State Troopers in Mercer County said the search for a woman wanted for Armed Robbery is over.  Amy Davis was found by investigators on Monday morning.  She ran off from the Princeton Detachment where she was being questioned on Sunday night about an armed robbery.

Davis is being charged with Armed Robbery and Escape.  She was found at a home on Bluefield Ave. in Princeton, WV.


ORIGINAL STORYA woman who was being held by West Virginia State Troopers in connection with a robbery is now the subject of a search.  Amy Davis, 38, of Princeton, WV was being questioned by troopers at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016.  Troopers were asking her about a robbery that had happened earlier in the day on Sunday.

According to a release from the State Police, Davis walked or ran from the Princeton Detachment.  Troopers have not been able to track her down since that time.  Anyone with information on Davis’ location is asked to contact their nearest State Police Detachment or input the information online at www.wvcrime.com.
