LATEST: Surveillance video released in Lavista, WV robbery case


Troopers with the West Virginia State Police responded to a robbery at a gas station in Fayette County on Sunday, July 26, 2015. The incident happened at Bandy’s Sunoco on Route 60 in Lavista, WV right before 9 p.m.

Employees said that a person came into the store and handed the clerk a note which allegedly read “Give me all your money.”   The clerk handed over more than $500. The suspect left the store and drove away.  

According to witnesses, the suspect was wearing sunglasses and a hoodie.  Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact State Police.
