Lewisburg City Hall Piano is getting a facelift

A senior at Greenbrier High School, Cassielle Donahue is renovating a historical piano after she submitted a design and was chosen by the committee.  Members of the committee say her design was chosen because of it’s simple but  beautiful design for the community instrument.

“That’s one of the unique things about this community is you never know where or who art is going to come from. And we were very happy that we were able to have designs come in from all over the community and the fact that it was a high school student was kind of irrelevant to us but also very unique to see that there was a strong youth involved in the painting of the piano.”

The full piano design will be revealed during the Chocolate Festival in Lewisburg on April 9th.
