Long Time Head Football Coach Steps Down

Long time Meadow Bridge High School Head Football Coach, Larry McClintic has retired after spending 47 seasons with the Wildcats. McClintic made school history leading the Wildcats to 17 playoff appearances and a Class-A State Championship in 1988. Meadow Bridge High School has not named a replacement to take over at this time.

At one time, McClintic and former MBHS Basketball Coach, Ed McCall were the two longest-tenured coaches in their respective sports. McCall said on Thursday, “I beat Larry to retirement.” McCall added that McClintic and the football team, for the last 47 years, have been the best show in town on Friday nights and that Coach McClintic will surely be missed.
