Man’s death ruled to be caused Takata airbag

A 12th death in the U.S. has been ruled to have been caused by an exploding Takata airbag inflator.

Honda says a man died in Miami last year when an inflator ruptured while he was using a hammer to repair the inside of a 2001 Honda Accord.

Takata has recalled more than 40 million cars in the U-S over faulty airbag concerns.
