Marquee Cinemas founder passes away

A man who was behind the scenes of a major movie theater chain has passed away.  Curtis McCall, founder and president of Marquee Cinemas died of leukemia on Wednesday, July 15, 2015.  

Marquee Cinemas has 17 locations in Beckley, Charleston and all up and down the east coast.  Officials with the company said their 18th location was getting ready to open in Bristol.  

McCall was a graduate of Concord University.  He leaves behind a wife and children.  Funeral arrangements have not been set.
