Milton couple arrested for sexually abusing daughter, filming it

As the result of an investigation stretching month, troopers with the West Virginia State Police arrested a Milton couple November 3 for sexually abusing their daughter and taking pictures of it.

The case began August 15, when troopers, while investigating online child pornography and trafficking, noticed a particular I.P. address that popped up repeatedly.

Eventually, troopers were able to get a search warrant for the home, in the 1100 block of Amos Street. One of the people who lived there was Daniel Lovejoy, 31, who was arrested.

Lovejoy admitted that he downloaded materials showing minors engaged in sexually explicit activities, and they he had molested his seven-year-old daughter for years.

While at the home, troopers found a memory card that showed Lovejoy and his wife, Nicole Lovejoy, 29, engaging in sexual acts with the daughter.

Both are being charged with Possession of Materials Depicting Minors in Sexually Explicit Content, Sexual Abuse by Parent, and Use of Minors in Filming Sexually Explicit Content.

They are being held at the Western Regional Jail on $1,000,000 bonds.
