Mom claims she found pot on 4-year-old’s fries from Ohio Wendy’s

A mother says she found marijuana on her daughter’s french fries from a Wendy’s in Ohio.

The mother, Dezeray Risner, has filed a police report shortly after leaving a Wendy’s in Ohio. She claims there was marijuana on fries she fed her 4-year-old daughter.

Dezeray Risner said she picked up her daughter from day care and ordered food. She said she was driving on Interstate 70 when her daughter started yelling that her french fries “tasted nasty.”

Risner said she asked her daughter to spit her food into her hand. When she looked at the chewed up food, she claims she found marijuana.

According to WDTN, Risner told police she called the manager of the store who said nobody at the restaurant had marijuana.

Risner posted pictures of the french fries on social media that she says show the marijuana in the fries she fed to her child.

Police say they opened the bag and smelled a “strong odor of marijuana” and saw a “green leafy vegetation” on the fries.

Wendy’s sent a response to the reported incident Wednesday.

In response to Ms. Thompson’s Facebook Post, please know all of our customers as well as the quality and integrity of our food are a top priority at Wendy’s and we are taking this very seriously. We are currently conducting a thorough internal investigation and the Human Resource and Legal departments are both fully cooperating with police in their investigation. We will get to the bottom of this issue as soon as possible. It is as important to us as it is to the community.
