A Monroe County man has been arrested on drug charges in Ronceverte.
Ronceverte police stopped William Ratliff, of Union on Wednesday afternoon for speeding in a school zone.
Police said they searched the car after smelling marijuana. A K-9 found around 7 ounces of marijuana, several small bags of marijuana, and $138.00 in the car.
Police arrested and charged Ratliff with possession of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver and obstructing an officer.
Police said the estimated street value of the drugs found is around $3,200.
Alderson police assisted in the arrest.
