MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) – West Virginia basketball coach Bob Huggins has signed a third recruit for the 2016-17 season.

Huggins said Thursday that Brandon Knapper has signed a national letter-of-intent.

The 6-foot-1 Knapper averaged 23 points, six rebounds, six assists and nearly four steals per game at South Charleston High School as a junior.

On Wednesday, Huggins announced the signings of Maciej Bender of Warsaw, Poland, and Chase Harler of Wheeling Central High School. Bender attends Mountain Mission School in Grundy, Virginia.
