New candidate enters race for Greenbrier County Commission


Now that both of the major party conventions have wrapped up, politicians are concentrating on getting votes ahead of the November election.  Now a new candidate has filed to represent Greenbrier County.  

According to the County Clerk, Donna Campbell Nickell filed to run for county commission.  She is running as an independent to represent the Central District of the county.  Her opposition is Republican Mike McClung and Democrat Brad Tuckwiller.

The general election is being held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016.  According to the West Virginia Secretary of States office, early voting will run from Oct. 26 to Nov. 5.
