UPDATE:

A shooting that happened at around 6 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 may have been in connection with a drug deal.  West Virginia State Troopers with the Princeton Detachment were called to the Villa Mobile Home park in the Green Valley area.  They found Timothy J. Fields, 26, of Bluefield, WV shot in the thigh and abdomen.  According to investigators, Fields supposedly sold marijuana to Joshua McCoy, 21, of Princeton.  McCoy then allegedly shot Fields twice with a pistol.

Fields was taken to Bluefield Regional Medical Center, but was later transferred to Charleston Area Medical Center.  He was reported as under evaluation at CAMC General.   Troopers said Joshua McCoy is in custody for allegedly shooting Timothy Fields. They said it happened in the area of a mobile home park behind the S&S Express. McCoy is charged with Malicious Wounding, Attempt to Commit a Felony, Wanton Endangerment and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
