Tonight, the New River Community and Technical College Greenbrier campus held a ribbon cutting celebration.
Faculty, board members, and decision makers for the college gathered for the dedication of the new arts and sciences building. The building is named after Dr. Kyle and Mrs. Ann Fort. The Fort’s have been on the board of the college for over 20 years and we’re in charge of bringing the Lewisburg campus to life.
“Their spirit of giving is magnified in their generous giving of their intellect, and their knowledge, their heartfelt care for the community, and their time. We are all trying to find more time in the day to do things in minutes. The Fort’s give up their time without hesitation,” said Washington of the Fort’s.
The building is partially open, using some space for classes this fall, but will open for more courses in the spring semester.
