The long-awaited Pokémon GO Plus wearable device will launch on Sept. 16, according to the official Pokémon GO website, with several media outlets also reporting the device is now available for pre-order.
The device, costing about $35, will give players a new way to catch Pokémon and collect items.
As you pass by a PokéStop, the device – which connects to your smart phone via Bluetooth Low Energy – will light up and vibrate, the website states. It will also alert users when a Pokémon is hiding nearby and let you try to “catch ’em all” with the push of a button.
