MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) – Police made a quick arrest after a robbery at a bank inside a Wal-Mart store in Martinsburg.
Martinsburg Police responded to a robbery at 10:15 a.m. Saturday morning at the Woodforest National Bank inside the Wal-Mart in Martinsburg.
According to a release, bank staffers told police that a man had approached a teller and presented a note demanding money. The man alluded to carrying a weapon. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.
Investigators looked at pictures of the man from surveillance video and a identified a license plate number.
Police found the car that matched the license plate at 10:50 a.m. and arrested 34-year-old Robert Wayne Largent, who matched the security footage pictures of the suspect. Largent was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery.
