A road in Summers County will be closed for around two and a half weeks to allow crews to stabilize a hillside. West Virginia Division of Highways District Nine Maintenance Engineer, James Moore, announced Ramp Road, also known as County Route 7, will be closed during the day starting on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015.
The project is located around two and three quarters miles east of where Ramp Road intersects with West Virginia Route 20. Barring difficulties with the weather, the workers should be done by Saturday, Aug. 29. 2015. The road will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Local traffic will still be able to get to locations along Ramp Road by using Elk Knob Road and Judson Road.
