Senator Shelly Moore Capito met with community leaders in the town of Hinton to discuss the future of entrepreneurship, broadband expansion, and building the community. While Senator Capito was in the community she learned about the remodeling of the Ritz Theater, and other businesses in the community.
“We’re being asked to diversify whether we want to or not because the coal industry is struggling, and I think Hinton is a great example. There’s high-tech business here because there’s broadband availability. I think it it shows what an expanded broadband availability throughout southern West Virginia can do.”
Senator Capito also visited Bluestone Dam to view ongoing construction at the site.
