Silver Alert Issued for Missing South Charleston Man

A silver alert has been issued for a man who is still missing from the South Charleston area.

According to a Facebook post from the South Charleston Police Steven Sydnor is a 69-year-old man who is 6’0″ and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He was last seen in blue shorts, tan shirt, tennis shoes and wearing a gold watch.

On Wednesday the South Charleston Police Department started their investigation to find a missing elderly man who left his South Charleston home on Ivywood Drive. 

According to a Facebook post from the South Charleston Police Steven Sydnor is a 69-year-old man who is 6’0″ and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He was last seen in blue shorts, tan shirt, tennis shoes and wearing a gold watch.

Sydnor may have taken his shirt off at some point. He was last seen on the 1300 block of smith creek road near Woody’s Garage.

It is believed Sydnor walked northbound towards South Charleston.
