State Fair of WV announces more acts for 2016


The field of entertainment for the 92nd State Fair of West Virginia has grown.  On Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, it was announced that Travis Tritt and the Charlie Daniels Band will be playing at the annual event.  They are scheduled to perform on Friday, Aug. 19 which is also “Lottery Day” at the Fair.

“Both of these acts are legends in the music industry and to have them on stage together is going to make a great show,” stated Kelly Collins, State Fair of West Virginia CEO.  “We still have several announcements to make in the near future, but we are already very excited for the 2016 State Fair of West Virginia!”

The theme for this year’s fair is “Capture Your Memories.”  It is a 10-day event from Aug. 12-21.  Ticket prices for Travis Tritt and Charlie Daniels can be found at the State Fair of West Virginia web site where they can also be purchased.  Tickets are also available by calling 1-800-514-ETIX Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
