Summers County grand jury returns indictments


The November session of the grand jury in Summers County has met and released their list of indictments.  There were several murder suspects among those who were indicted.

Topping the list is Mark Shane Adkins who was indicted for First Degree Murder.  He is accused of shooting and killing his brother Choya Adkins after the two got into a fight at a home on Duncan Branch Road.   Choya Adkins widow spoke exclusively about the murder with 59News.

John Edward Gadd was also indicted on two counts of murder and two counts of concealment of a deceased human body.  Gadd is accused of killing his parents and then keeping their bodies in the home for three days.  Read more details about the arrest here.

Cody Michael Graham was arrested in Hinton for operating a meth lab.  He was indicted by the grand jury as well.  Police found Graham sneaking into the backyard when officers arrived.  They followed him to where they found a shake and bake meth lab.

There were around 30 indictments returned.  The suspects will be arraigned on the charges at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30.
