Tevante Hoskins arrested in connection with Shaquille Clark’s murder


On Nov. 12, 2015 at approximately 4:20 p.m. members of the Beckley Police Department Detective Bureau and the United States Marshal Fugitive Task Force arrested Tevante “Bootsie” Hoskins, 20, of Beckley.  The arrest was made during a felony traffic stop on Harper Road in Harper, WV.

Hoskins was previously wanted in connection with a Wanton Endangerment incident involving a handgun on April 3, 2015 at an apartment complex in Beckley.  Hoskins was also wanted for questioning in the March 22, 2015 murder of Shaquille Clark on Maplewood Avenue in Beckley.  

Beckley Police said Hoskins is charged with First Degree Murder for Clark’s death.  Investigators said he had a handgun when he was captured.  Hoskins was arraigned by Magistrate Peck and is being held in the Southern Regional Jail without Bond on the murder charge.
