Opening day for the West Virginia Miners is May 28th, but before game day some of players are looking for a place to stay.

Team officials tell us they’re in need of about eight more families to participate in their host family program.

Danny Flores says, “Its what makes the players wanna play better its what makes them really wanna go out there and feel like they are at home so the host families come in and they support the kids they open up their home and give the kids a chance to really bond with the family  to see what West Virginia has to offer.”

If you’d like to be apart and host a player simply log on to  their website wvminersbaseball.com.
