Trust donates $5.2 million to WVU law, medical schools

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) – West Virginia University’s law and medical schools will split a donation of more than $5 million.

The university announced the $5.2 million gift from the Barbara B. Highland Charitable Trust on Thursday.

The funding will be used to create the Cecil B. Highland College of Law Conference Room and the Barbara B. Highland Stroke Chair, an endowed faculty position at the School of Medicine.
