Twin Falls Lumberjackin’ Bluegrassin’ Jamboree Changes

Twin Falls is gearing up to host their annual Lumberjackin’ Bluegrassin’ Jamboree. This year will be the 34th Jamboree.

Twin Falls State Park welcomes students who participate in the woodsman competition. This year they expect students from W-V-U and Ohio State.

To make this all possible they have made slight adjustments to this year’s schedule. “We tried to move it up a couple weeks to dodge that cold nasty clammy weather. We had a hard time to get Universities to get them to come and compete because their homecomings are that time of the year so we moved it up,” says a Twin Falls State Park Employee, Cody Cochran.

With this date change the park expects an even larger crowd. There’s something for everyone with bluegrass music, food, arts and crafts, The best part is it’s all free and open to the public. The fun kicks off September 23rd and continues on until Sunday.
