


1 p.m. June 12, 2017 UPDATE:
Over the weekend, law enforcement officers picked up another suspect wanted in a drug sweep in Fayette County. On Sunday, June 11, 2017 Jessica Dawn Ennis was arrested in Kanawha County on the charges filed in Fayette County. She is being held in the South Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
That just leaves two suspects still on the run.

3:15 p.m. June 6, 2017 UPDATE:
Deputies in Fayette County make another arrest in a drug trafficking investigation. Brandon Shane Comer, 28, of Oak Hill was arrested on Tuesday and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. He is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond. The search continues for the three remaining suspects.
10:45 a.m. June 6, 2017 UPDATE:
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has announced the arrests of two more people wanted in a drug trafficking investigation. Paul Anthony Petry was arrested in Montgomery on Monday. He is charged with three counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. He was arraigned in Kanawha County and is being held in the South Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
They have also arrested Christian Isaacs of Hico. He is charged with one count of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. He was arraigned in Fayette County and released on a $25,000 bond. The search continues for four other suspected in the investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY: Efforts by law enforcement agencies across Fayette County have lead to the arrest of eight people, and the search continues for six more. The Central West Virginia Drug Task Force was able to get warrants for the arrest of 13 people on drug trafficking charges. Starting on June 1, 2017 they began rounding up the suspects, with the assistance of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and the Oak Hill Police Department.
As of Monday, June 5, seven arrests were made, along with an unconnected arrest of one man wanted for domestic battery. The suspects and charges are listed below:

“Investigators from the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force have been diligently working to take drugs off the streets, but we need help from the public,” said Fayette County Prosecuting Attorney Larry Harrah. “All tips of drug trafficking will be investigated.”
