The deadline is approaching, if you want to vote in the general election. October 18th is the deadline for voter registration. To register, you can go online or visit the Raleigh County Courthouse. Deputy Clerk Cecilia Chapman says there are currently more than 54,000 people registered to vote in Raleigh county. That’s about half of the county’s population which she says is an increase from the last election. “Well it’s very easy, if you have a West Virginia drivers license you can go online, now it’s very convenient you can do it anytime of the day or night. Then we’ll receive the application and send them their voters card,” said Chapman. Early voting begins on October 26th and lasts through Nov 5th
