CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) – West Virginia’s Office of Technology is sponsoring a cyber security conference next month.
The meeting is set for Oct. 25 at the Charleston Civic Center. A panel of experts will provide information on cyber threats and effective ways to safeguard computer information. The presentations will touch on individual responsibility, accountability, risk management and privacy issues.
The event is open to public sector employees as well as the general public. The event is free, but those who want to attend or view a live webcast of the presentations must pre-register online.
