Woman who killed alleged serial killer is speaking out

The man shot and killed by a Charleston woman is now believed to be a serial killer.
The shooting happened Saturday, July 18, 2015, around 3 p.m. in the 600 block of Park Avenue on Charleston’s West Side.
59News spoke with the Charleston woman who was able to kill Neil Falls, after he showed up at her home.
They met on an adult website. Falls is being linked to other killings and missing women thousands of miles away.
The victim is finally speaking out, describing the moment she pulled the trigger, “I was like, okay, just let me get up and breath, let me get a breath and he said you’re going to walk with me and when he lifted me up I grabbed the gun and just shot it, thank god the safety was off.”
We also sat down with Charleston’s Chief Detective, Lt. Steve Cooper, to get an update on the investigation, “I believe she saved lives by shooting Mr. Falls. Based on what he did to her and based on the items that were found in his car. The whole thing just seemed really sinister and the items, really as an investigator, what comes to mind when you look at those items is this is a serial killer.”
