WV Secretary of State Natalie Tennant works to spread voter registration awareness

September is National Voter Registration Month and West Virginia Secretary of State Natalie Tennant is working to spread the awareness of the importance of registering to vote.

During a press conference tomorrow in Charleston she will show the first “Why I Vote” video in a series of 30 videos to be shown throughout the month of September. “Every day we will have a video that people will recognize, famous West Virginians everyday West Virginians talking about why they’re not just registered to vote but why they vote and why it’s so important and certainly we know that when we talk about our economy, our safety, our education, because it impacts all of us,” said Tennant.

Tennant is encouraging all voters to go to votewv.com to stay up to date on election news.
