Adeena Balthazor comes to the 59News team from Peotone, IL a south suburb of Chicago. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University where she earned a bachelors degree in TV/Video Production and a minor in Sport Management.
Adeena has always had a passion for sports and looked up to female reporters in the sports field like Erin Andrews and Sam Ponder. She hopes to follow the path of her role models and become a sports reporter.
In her free time, Adeena enjoys hanging out with her family and freinds. She also loves rooting on her Green Bay Packers, Duke Blue Devils, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Chicago White Sox & Blackhawks as well!
