A festival in downtown Fayetteville this weekend is attracting a number of talented musicians.

The Fayette Song Writers Festival is being held at the Historic Fayette Theater on Friday, Februrary 22 and Saturday, February 23. Both days will be filled with live music performances.

Not only is this event a good way to showcase local talent, but a fundraiser to support the CODA Mountain Academy, a non-profit organization helping children in need get involved with music and the arts.

Headliner, Andrew Adkins, said this is a greta program they want to bring more awareness to.

“They do so much to contribute to the community,” Adkins said.

Tickets are $20 per day, or both days can be purchased for $35. All proceeds will go towards the CODA Mountain Academy.
