A local church in Raleigh County is celebrating an original worship song being released. Breckenridge Missionary Baptist Church in Bolt has a worship song titled ‘Move.’

Worship Leader Ryan Haddox said this song goes along with the series they just finished at church.

“We just believe that God is not done moving,” Haddox said. “We don’t believe that he’s done with us and we are definitely not done with him. So, it’s really just a prayer, it’s almost like a prayer of a song that we just desire to see God move, and just to do what he has been doing.

Both Haddox and the Head Pastor Corey Brooks said this is an exciting time, not just for the worship team, but for the church as a whole. Pastor Brooks said with all of the support from the church, all the money raised from this song will go back to the church for renovations.

“It’s going to go to help our church to buy a new sound system,” Brooks said. “And it’s going to be a pretty hefty thing. This sanctuary has been here for 20 years and we’ve had a lot of the same equipment for 20 years, and so we are looking at revamping everything as we are moving forward with a professional music ministry.”

Brooks said all of the money to help them get into the recording studio was donated by a member of the church. The song Move goes live on all digital platforms Thursday, April 25 at 8 a.m.
