This week’s episode is about actor Kevin Sizemore and his family coming back to his hometown and speaking to second graders at Princeton Primary School. Kevin and his son Gunnar spoke to the class on Friday April 12, 2019 about being a voiceover actor.
Gunnar has been a voice over actor since he was in the second grade and likes getting to talk to the younger generation about what he does.
“I think it’s really important to talk to young kids and explain to them what you do for a living,” Gunnar said. “Because some kids might realize that they want to do something, and they never knew that they could or they never knew they wanted to do it.”
The Sizemore family was in town for the premiere of the movie Mine 9. Kevin, a native of Princeton, said he loves returning to his roots, saying he will always be a Tiger.
“I keep coming back because I love the area,” Kevin said. “That’s where I grew up. It’s where I was born and raised.”
Gunnar even let a few of the second graders come up and get a lesson from him on how to be a voice actor for cartoons.
