A Bluefield College student is getting the chance to attend the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. The program is through the “Best Semester” program, which is for Christian studies to be allowed to travel and learn in a big city.
Sahara Brewster, attending LA film studies, said she never thought she would be in film, but is looking forward to learning in L.A.
“I guess I was just led here, it just happened. I’ve always liked being creative,” Brewster said.
She said she specifically looks forward to learning from professionals in Hollywood.
“I will be studying Hollywood production, faith and artist development and film and video storytelling,” Brewster said.
She said along with learning, she is also looking forward to driving the 33 hours from West Virginia to California.
“Site seeing and seeing everything out there,” Brewster said. “Running into celebrities, anything like that.”
Brewster will attend the film studies center next fall for one semester.
