ACE employees create nightmarish adventure each fall

MINDEN, WV (WVNS) — Folks at Ace Adventure Resort are working hard to transform a warehouse into something out of a nightmare.

Nightmare on The Gorge opens for the season on October 11, 2019, and runs every weekend of October. The 6,000 square foot ‘Warehouse of Terror’ features new haunts every year.

Chris Colin is the Special Events Coordinator at ACE. He said visitors might encounter spooks from West Virginia’s past, like the Mad Butcher of Oak Hill and the Greenbrier Ghost.

“It will be full of over 30 scary monsters so you’ll wind your way through the darkness and encounter a bunch of spooky sets and horrifying creeps and goblins ready to scare the life out of you,” Colin said.
